The AFA Animal Institute is open to collegiate students pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field. Students passionate about animal agriculture, leadership, and the future of the industry are encouraged to apply.

How do I apply?

The application will take around 40-45 minutes. Here are a few tips to ensure a smooth application process:

  1. Confirm Eligibility: Double-check that you meet AFA’s eligibility requirements before applying.

  2. Update Your Info: Make sure your school details (class status, graduation date, and major) are current. If you’ve applied before, your information will pre-fill. Changed your major or school? Let us know!

  3. Highlight Experiences: Share as much as possible about your internships, work experience, organizational involvement, and community service. Every detail matters, and a well-filled application makes you stand out!

  4. Mind the Details: Grammar, spelling, and punctuation count—they’re part of the scoring criteria.
